he finally evened out his farmers tan a little... :)
So this picture has a story behind it.. one day on his was home Jake noticed some old people with a flat tire on the side of the road. They were on their way out to deliver some stuff to Jake's work. There must have been about 3 people ahead of Jake that just passed by. At least 2 times a week Jake comes home and tells me about how he pulled over to help someone on the side of the road. Well he stopped and helped them and after they offered to buy him dinner. Jake said no, and when they asked what they could do for him he said just put in a good word for me! Well a few days later at work Jake received a card and a box of See's candy. It was from the people he had helped and the letter read :
"Dear Jake,
It was hot and late and we are sure your were tired after a full day of work. Yet you stopped and helped others and we are sure you do this often. What a fine person! We send our thanks again for your help and having met you. Kathy and Jim Holt."
It's the simple things like this that make me so proud of my husband. Jake is truly a special and caring/loving person. Lynn you did such a fine job at raising your son! Love you babe!
