We had a awesome Christmas this year! Jake was scheduled to work but ended up getting Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off so we were super excited to have him home!
These pictures below have a story to go along with them. For those who didn't know, Jake works at a place that handles coal so he is around it all day so he brought a chunk home from work and we wrapped it up to give to Addi as a joke...mistake #1-this was not funny to Addi and she immediately started saying "I have not been naughty! That's not funny!" poor thing was not very happy as you can see in the first picture, but once we explained it to her that is was a joke, she thought it was pretty funny and then wrapped it back up to give to her Uncle Josh! The last picture, well awhile before Christmas my mom asked Addi what she wanted to Christmas, and Addi said "Poop on a stick" this is a joke Jake plays with Addi when we are asking her what she wants to eat and she can't decide, Jake will ask "Poop on a stick?" so my mom and Riley both took some candy bars and put them on a stick, wrapped 'em and gave them to Addi on Christmas day, mistake # 2-she again,, was not happy, she threw them down and stomped off into the other room saying "that's not funny". Once we moved on to her real presents, everything was all fine and dandy! So I guess we all learned a lesson, that when it comes to Addi and her presents, there is no joking! I hope everyone had as wonderful of a Christmas as we did!
