So me and Jake just kinda decided to take a day trip to New York over the weekend. We would like to go back and spend atleast 2-3 days there again but it was a fun little trip. We left Friday night from Vegas and we got into New York about 6:00am, we hopped on the Subway and headed down town.First we went to the 9/11 Memorial which was really cool, and then after catching a cab and wandering around looking for a place that didn't even exsist, we decided to head to Central Park. After hanging out their we went to time square and then headed back to the airport. It took us a bit to figure out how to navigate the Subway system but we were able to get where we wanted, and people were really nice helping us. Our flight left New York at 6pm and got home about midnight. What an exhausting day, when we got home my legs and ankles were so swollen, you couldn't see my ankles. I don't know if it was the flight/elevation or the walking because we did A LOT of walking, but I'm sure both mixed with pregnancy contributed to it. Anyways here are a few pictures we got.

This was a wallet and identification and wedding ring found of one of the victims with a story to go along with it, it was really sad.

This was a big screen outside of a Forever 21 store in time square and if you look underneath the "1" on the screen that's Jake and I haha it was kinda cool!

I CANNOT believe you really went toNYC just for the day... like not even a night and a day? You are a trooper! I love New York! Chan and I are itching to go back soon! That is so cool you guys did this!!! What a fun busy day. I would love to do something like that but I don't think Hunter could handle the long plane ride.
