So this year we decided to go out and cut down our own tree, try it out this Christmas. We headed up Parowan Canyon and went to Yankee Meadow area, it was so pretty and nice whether. Our day started off a little scary, as you can see in the picture below this guy behind us didn't have his truck in 4-wheel drive and started to slip off the side of the road which was a cliff. Pretty much the only thing stopping his truck was a tree hooked on to the back corner of his bumper. It was pretty scary and Jake tried pulling him out but there was no luck there was no way he was getting out of their. For anyone who know me you know I have horrible car anxiety and stuff like this beyond freaks me out and gives me anxiety so I had to walk away and then once we decided to head back down the hill, I walked pretty much all the way down till we were on level safe ground, and that's where we stayed the rest of the day! Other than that we had a great time, not really prepared when it came to clothing snow boots, and gloves didn't even come across my mind and poor Addi, her shoes came of in the snow and we rolled her pants up a bit cause they were so long and they filled up with snow so she she ended up just hanging out in the truck with Milo and Uncle Josh while Jake and I went and found a tree. Guess it's all stuff we will learn from and be prepared for next year!
